Complete guide: Aden Laboratory — the Queen Ant research
The Aden Laboratory is live on Zyron: 24 research pages, permanent passives, rollable special effects and Transcendence at the end. Learn how every part of the book works — and what it costs.
TL;DR: the Aden Laboratory is a research book about the Queen Ant with 24 pages. Every completed page grants a permanent passive (P.Def, HP, Atk. Spd, XP...), the special pages (★) give strong effects with a rollable grade, and finishing the book unlocks Transcendence (+300 to +1500 P.Atk/M.Atk). Everything counts toward your Combat Power.
What is the Aden Laboratory
The Aden Laboratory is a permanent progression system: an ancient book holding the research on the Queen Ant. You advance page by page paying with Aden's Exploration Reports and adena, and every step becomes a stat bonus your character keeps forever.
It is one of the sources of Combat Power (the diamond number in your status window) — alongside equipment, relics and ensoul.
How to open it
Open the main menu (menu button on the bottom bar) and click Aden Laboratory (the flask icon). The book opens on the page where you stopped. The arrows on the sides flip through the pages you have unlocked, and the star buttons (★) at the bottom jump straight to the special pages you have reached.
The card game (normal pages)
Most of the book is made of face-down card pages. Each page hides one correct card among the others.
- Click the current page to open the card table and pick a card.
- Each attempt costs 1 Aden's Exploration Report + 5,000,000 adena.
- Wrong card? It is removed from the table. With fewer cards left, your next try has better odds — and the last remaining card is a guaranteed hit.
- Right card? The page is completed, you gain its passive and the next page opens.
The first page has only 3 cards, but they keep growing (8, 13, 18...) up to 36 cards on the final pages. Save adena for the middle of the book.
Normal-page passives include: P.Def, M.Def, max HP and MP, Atk. Spd, Cast. Spd, Speed, HP potion effect, XP/SP +2% (four pages!) and PvE damage.
Special pages (the ★ stars)
Pages 5, 10, 16 and 21 work differently: instead of cards, you roll a grade (Lv) of a powerful effect.

How it works:
- Researching (rolling a grade) costs 10,000,000 adena per roll. The result stays pending — it is not active yet.
- You can roll again as many times as you want (each roll replaces the pending one).
- Confirming the pending grade is free the first time on each page.
- Replacing an already-confirmed grade costs 200,000,000 adena — so roll until you get a grade worth keeping BEFORE you confirm.
The odds of every grade are shown in the page's probability window — high grades are genuinely rare.
Transcendence (the final challenge)
Finished all 24 pages? The book reveals the Transcendence screen — the final enchant of the research, with 3 levels:

Each attempt consumes 1 Transcendent Upgrade Stone. Failed? You lose nothing but the stone. And when someone transcends, the whole server knows: the announcement is shown to every player online.

Laboratory tips
- Hoard every Aden's Exploration Report you get from rewards and events — it is the fuel of the book.
- On special pages, do not confirm a low grade out of anxiety: re-rolling costs 10M, but swapping after confirming costs 200M.
- The four XP/SP +2% pages (pages 14 to 17 of the book) pay for themselves if you are still leveling — prioritize reaching them.
- Page ★ 21 is the most valuable in the book (two effects at once). Arrive there with an adena reserve to roll several times.
- Progress is per character and is saved — you can stop and come back anytime.
