by admin 6 min read

In short: The Bladedancer is a Dark Elf melee warrior who mixes fast strikes with a collection of buffs that make the whole group stronger. It's ideal for anyone who wants a tough, agile character that's useful both solo and in a party.

Picture a battle dancer: he spins among enemies landing swift blows, and with every move he releases an aura that speeds up, protects and heals nearby allies. That's the soul of the Bladedancer.

In practice, playing a Bladedancer is comfortable for beginners. You hit hard, have lots of HP to absorb mistakes, and carry valuable buffs — which makes any group want you around. It's one of those characters that forgive mistakes and still shine.

Overview

Profile
Race Dark Elf
Archetype Melee combat
Playstyle Hit and buff
Difficulty Easy
Main weapon Blades (fist/dual style)
Line position 2nd Class

The Bladedancer is part of the Dark Elf combat line, which follows the path: Dark Fighter (Starter) → Palus Knight (1st Class) → Bladedancer (2nd Class). In other words, you start as a basic fighter and mature into the blade dancer who reinforces the whole team.

Strengths

  • Very high Strength (STR) — with 41 STR (among the best on the server), your physical hits really hurt. That means killing monsters faster and farming more efficiently.
  • Huge HP pool — with around 4222 HP at level 85, you can take a lot of punishment. For a beginner, that's gold: you make mistakes, survive and learn without dying constantly.
  • Good movement speed — with 139 speed, you reach enemies, escape danger and farm faster. Time spent walking is time wasted, and the Bladedancer wastes little.
  • A walking box of buffs — he carries auras for attack speed, movement speed and even regeneration. In practice, you boost yourself and the whole party without relying on anyone.
  • Combat survivability — combining lots of HP with his own defensive buffs, the Bladedancer is rarely the first to fall. That makes him a reliable companion in any group.

Weaknesses

  • Pure damage falls behind specialist classes — since he spends part of his kit on buffs, he doesn't hit as hard as a pure attacker. Tip: turn on your attack buffs before farming to make up for it.
  • He needs to be close to hit — being melee, he takes damage while fighting. Tip: use your high HP to your advantage and keep your defensive buffs always active.
  • Low base mana — with limited mana, casting many skills in a row drains fast. Tip: keep mana potions in your auto-supply and prioritize what really matters.
  • He shines most in a group — solo he's good, but his buff potential only explodes in a party. Tip: look for a group for raids and bosses; there he becomes indispensable.

Class-defining skills

  • Power Strike — a strong, direct physical blow. It's your bread-and-butter attack to break the enemy's HP fast.
  • Mortal Blow — a precise strike (a BLOW type) that deals a burst of physical damage. Great to open a fight or finish off a weakened target.
  • Power Shot — another physical attack, useful for varying your hit rotation and keeping the pressure on the enemy.
  • Haste — a buff that increases attack speed. In other words, you hit more times in the same span: always turn it on before farming.
  • Wind Walk — a buff that increases movement speed for you and your allies. It helps you reach monsters faster and flee from trouble.
  • Recover HP — a heal over time (it regenerates HP little by little). It keeps you standing through long farming sessions without spending potions.
  • Recover MP — recovers mana over time. It pairs with the class's low mana and keeps your skills always available.
  • Majesty — a defensive buff that reinforces your resistance. Use it when you sense a heavy hit coming from a boss or many enemies.
  • Ultimate Defense — an emergency shield that greatly boosts your defense for a while. It's your panic button to survive a critical moment.

Attributes: what to prioritize

The Bladedancer is a physical fighter, so everything revolves around hitting hard and holding firm. His two pillars are Strength and Constitution, with Dexterity helping on critical hits.

  • STR (Strength) — your number one priority, since it defines how much your physical hits hurt.
  • CON (Constitution) — increases HP and resistance, reinforcing what's already the class's strong point.
  • DEX (Dexterity) — improves critical chance and accuracy, making your attacks land and hurt more.
  • MEN (Mentality) — a little helps, since mana is short and you depend on it for buffs.

Use blades (melee weapons in the fist/dual style) to take advantage of attack speed. For armor, prefer light armor, which balances protection with mobility — perfect for an agile fighter.

What to upgrade first: start with the weapon, because more damage means faster farming. Then improve the armor to survive in tougher zones. Always keep both updated as you level up.

Beginner step by step

  1. Create the character — choose the Dark Elf race and the Dark Fighter line. That's the starting point of the journey to the Bladedancer.
  2. Do the first quests in the starter area — they teach the basics and also give equipment and adena to start off on the right foot.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt — this feature makes the character farm by itself on monsters of your level. It's the most practical way to level up while you organize skills and gear.
  4. Follow the professions in the right order — go from Dark Fighter (Starter) → Palus Knight (1st Class) → Bladedancer (2nd Class). Each change unlocks new skills and makes you stronger.
  5. Prioritize the right buffs and blows — turn on Haste and Wind Walk to farm faster, and use Power Strike and Mortal Blow as your main attacks.
  6. Gather Adena and L-Coin — Adena comes naturally from farming; L-Coin you accumulate by playing and use for important items and upgrades.
  7. Keep weapon and armor always updated — old gear stalls your progress. Swap for something better whenever you have the resources.
  8. Set up the auto-supply — put HP and mana potions in the automatic slot so you don't interrupt the farm and to make up for the class's low mana.

Where to farm

  • Auto-hunt on monsters of your level — it's the safest and most efficient method to gain experience without unnecessary risks.
  • Move up to tougher zones as you grow — as you gain levels and improve gear, stronger monsters give bigger rewards.
  • Join a party for raids and bosses — this is where the Bladedancer truly shines, with his buffs strengthening the whole group.
  • Use the Season Pass and daily missions — they give constant extra rewards that greatly speed up your progress.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Forgetting to activate buffs — farming without Haste and Wind Walk wastes half the class's power.
  • Ignoring mana — without mana potions in the auto-supply, your skills stall in the middle of a fight. Keep the supply always full.
  • Carrying old gear — holding a weak weapon for too long makes farming slow and frustrating.
  • Always playing solo — you miss the best of the class by never joining a party for raids and bosses.

It's for you if…

  • You enjoy fast, direct melee combat, right in the middle of the action.
  • You want a tough character that forgives mistakes while you learn.
  • You like being useful to the group, strengthening allies with buffs.
