Divine Templar (High Elf) class guide — strengths, skills and step-by-step

The Divine Templar is the elite knight of the High Elves: a living wall that holds the front line, supports the group with buffs, and rarely falls. Perfect for anyone who loves being tough and protecting their friends.

by admin 7 min read

In short: The Divine Templar is the toughest melee warrior of the High Elves, built to soak up damage and keep the group standing. It is the perfect class for those who like to be the "tank" — the character that holds the monsters while the others attack.

Picture an elven knight blessed by the light, who charges into battle head-on and simply will not fall. That is the Divine Templar. He is not the one who deals the most damage, but the one who endures the most — and that changes everything in a group.

Playing a Divine Templar feels like security. You are the rock of the team: the monsters hit you, your allies stay safe behind you, and your blessings make everyone stronger. It is calm, solid and very rewarding when you realize the group only survives because of you.

Overview

Profile

Archetype Melee combat

Difficulty Medium
Main weapon Fists / fist blades
Position in the line 3rd Class

The Divine Templar is the end point of a long journey: Divine Templar (Starter) → Divine Templar (1st Class) → Divine Templar (2nd Class) → Divine Templar (3rd Class). Each step makes the knight tougher and gives more blessings for the group.

Strengths

  • Extremely high toughness (CON 45, top 4% of the server) — this means a lot of HP and huge resistance. In practice, you are the last to die and the first one chosen to hold the enemies in a group.
  • Heavy physical defense (pDef 80) — the melee blows from monsters barely hurt you. This lets you farm for much longer without stopping to heal.
  • Good speed (139, top 22%) — you move quickly between monsters and catch targets that try to flee. In auto-hunt zones this means steadier farming.
  • A walking buff box — your kit brings blessings for speed, attack and healing over time. You help the whole group get stronger without depending on another class.
  • Lots of life in the endgame (3,808 HP at level 85) — one of the largest health pools among melee classes. You survive mistakes that would instantly kill other classes.

Weaknesses

  • Weak magic power (INT 20, only top 28%) — your magic hits softly. Tip: do not even try to focus on magic damage; your role is to endure and strike up close, not to cast offensive spells.
  • Modest damage per hit — you hold the line well, but kill slowly on your own. Tip: play in a group, where your job is to protect while others do the heavy damage.
  • Levels up slowly solo — because you kill slowly, farming alone can get tiring. Tip: lean heavily on auto-hunt in zones of your level and join groups whenever you can.

Class-defining skills

  • Haste — a blessing that shortens the time between your attacks, meaning you hit faster. Always turn it on before a fight to speed up farming.
  • Wind Walk — increases your movement speed. Great for reaching enemies, escaping trouble, or just moving across the map faster.
  • Berserker Spirit — a "rage" mode: you gain more attack and speed in exchange for a bit of defense. Use it when you want to speed up farming and have health to spare.
  • Восстановление HP (HP Regeneration) — healing over time, meaning you recover life little by little on your own. Keep it on to farm longer without stopping.
  • Восстановление МP (MP Regeneration) — recovers mana little by little. Useful so you never run out of energy to use your other blessings.
  • Magic Barrier — increases your magic defense, protecting you better against mages and spell-casting monsters. Essential in zones and raids with magical enemies.
  • White Guardian Transformation — a "guardian" transformation that reinforces your defensive aura. Activate it in tight moments, like holding a boss while the group attacks.
  • Mount Unicorn / Mount Shining Lady — mounts that let you cross the map much faster. Use them to travel between zones without wasting time.

Attributes: what to prioritize

The Divine Templar is built entirely around soaking up damage and fighting up close. So the priority is defense and physical strength, leaving the magic side aside.

  • CON (resistance/HP) — your main star; it already comes very high and is what makes you a tank. Anything that raises life and defense is welcome.
  • STR (physical damage) — your source of melee damage; the more you have, the faster you kill.
  • DEX (crit/accuracy) — helps you hit more often and land critical strikes, improving your damage and stability in combat.
  • INT/WIT/MEN (magic) — barely matter to you; do not spend resources trying to boost the magic side.

Since your attack is with fists / fist blades, look for weapons of that type as you level. For armor, go heavy — it fits your tank role and reinforces your physical defense, which is already your strong point.

Early on, always prioritize upgrading armor before the weapon: since you focus on surviving, defense pays off more than damage. Keep everything within your level and switch to better pieces as soon as the game allows.

Beginner step-by-step

  1. Create the character — choose High Elf and the Divine Templar starter class. Do not worry about everything at once; the game guides you at the start.
  2. Do the first quests of the starting area — they give experience, basic gear and teach the controls. It is the best way to start on the right foot.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt — this feature makes your character farm by itself on monsters of your level, attacking and healing automatically. Use it a lot to level up without staying at the controls all the time.
  4. Follow the professions in order — you evolve from Starter → 1st → 2nd → 3rd Class. With each change you become tougher and gain new blessings; do each one as soon as it unlocks.
  5. Prioritize the right skills — turn on Haste and Wind Walk to speed up farming, keep HP and MP regeneration active, and save Berserker Spirit for when you want to farm faster.
  6. Gather Adena and L-Coin — Adena is the in-game money, and L-Coin is used to buy special items in the shop. By farming and doing missions you accumulate both naturally.
  7. Keep weapon and armor updated — whenever possible, switch to better pieces within your level. Old gear makes farming slow and dangerous.
  8. Join groups — this is where the Divine Templar shines. Hold the monsters, protect your allies and let the team do the heavy damage.

Where to farm

  • Auto-hunt on monsters of your level — the most practical way to level and gather resources day to day.
  • Move up to harder zones as you progress — as you gain levels and gear, seek stronger areas for more experience and better rewards.
  • Form a group for raids and bosses — bosses give great rewards and are where your tank role makes the biggest difference.
  • Use the Season Pass and daily missions — they are steady sources of experience, Adena and items; do them whenever you can.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Trying to focus on magic damage — your INT is weak; investing in offensive magic is a waste. Focus on defense and melee attack.
  • Upgrading the weapon before the armor — since your role is to endure, prioritizing defense pays off much more in the early levels.
  • Always playing solo — the Divine Templar kills slowly alone. Without a group, you lose the class's greatest strength, which is to protect and hold the line.
  • Forgetting to turn on the blessings — Haste, the regenerations and Wind Walk make a big difference; playing without them is playing at half strength.

This is for you if…

  • You like being the group's protector, holding the enemies while your friends attack.
  • You prefer surviving and outlasting the fight over having to kill everything fast on your own.
  • You enjoy a solid, calm playstyle where patience and endurance matter more than rushing.
