Element Weaver class guide (High Elf) — strengths, skills and step-by-step

The Element Weaver is the High Elves' elemental mage: huge mana, sky-high magic power and ranged damage. See its skills, attributes and a from-scratch beginner walkthrough.

by admin 7 min read

In short: The Element Weaver is a High Elf ranged mage focused on pure magic damage and a massive mana pool. It's the perfect class for players who like to stay back, cast spells and watch monsters fall before they ever get close.

Imagine being a weaver of the elements: wind, fire and light answer your call and turn into raw damage. The Element Weaver is exactly that — a High Elf who trades brute strength for arcane wisdom.

In practice, playing an Element Weaver is a "remote control" experience. You keep your distance from danger, unleash powerful spells, and use your near-infinite mana so you never run out of fuel. It's fragile up close, but devastating from afar.

Overview

Position in the line 3rd Class

The Element Weaver is the endpoint of a long evolution journey: Element Weaver (Starter) → Element Weaver (1st Class) → Element Weaver (2nd Class) → Element Weaver (3rd Class). At every step of this line you gain stronger spells and get closer to the complete form of the mage.

Strengths

  • Practically infinite mana — with around 1847 MP at level 85 (the highest among all classes), you almost never run out of mana to cast. That means farming for much longer without stopping to rest.
  • Maxed-out magic power — INT 45 is the highest possible value, and INT is the stat that multiplies your magic damage. Every spell you fire hits far harder than that of non-magic classes.
  • Good movement speed — with 139 run speed (among the highest), you reposition quickly, flee dangerous enemies and keep the ideal distance to attack safely.
  • A strong self-buff package — you carry support spells like Haste, Acumen and Wild Magic, which boost attack, casting speed and magic critical damage. In practice you strengthen yourself and depend less on other players.
  • Self-sustain while farming — with heal-over-time and mana-over-time spells, you keep yourself alive and fueled on your own, which is perfect for leaving auto-hunt running for hours.

Weaknesses

  • Very low dexterity — with DEX 15 (among the worst values in the game), your physical hits miss more and rarely crit. Tip: never rely on melee; solve everything with magic and keep your distance.
  • Weak strength — STR 20 makes physical damage irrelevant. Tip: don't invest in physical weapons or try to fight up close; your job is to cast.
  • Modest toughness — CON 25 gives only an average total health (around 3579 HP at level 85), so you go down fast if surrounded. Tip: prioritize armor with good magic defense and always keep an escape route.

Class-defining skills

  • Haste — a buff that speeds up your attack time. Turn it on as soon as you learn it to make all your actions faster while farming.
  • Acumen — a buff that reduces your spell casting time. Essential on a mage: the faster you cast, the more damage per second you deal.
  • Wind Walk — a movement speed buff. Great for running between monster groups and for backing off when something dangerous approaches.
  • Восстановление HP (HP Recovery) — a heal over time. Keeps your health slowly climbing during a fight, keeping you alive without needing potions every moment.
  • Восстановление МP (MP Recovery) — recharges mana over time. Combined with your already huge mana, it leaves you barely worried about magic fuel.
  • Magic Barrier — a buff that increases your magic defense. Activate it against other mages and enemies that use spells, reducing the damage you take.
  • Berserker Spirit — an aggressive buff that raises your offensive power in exchange for a bit of defense. Use it when you want to farm faster and you're safe.
  • Wild Magic — a buff that increases your magic critical chance. Spells that crit deal double damage, so this greatly raises your average output.
  • Magic Critical (via Wild Magic and passives like Empower and Focus) — together, the passives Empower (more magic power) and Focus (more crit) raise your base damage even higher without you having to do anything.

Attributes: what to prioritize

Like every mage, the Element Weaver lives around INT and MEN. INT turns your magic into damage, and MEN guarantees the mana to keep casting. Physical attributes barely matter for you.

  • INT (magic power) — your absolute priority; it's what makes your spells hit hard.
  • MEN (mana) — second place; it guarantees the reserve to cast nonstop.
  • WIT (casting speed) — useful for casting faster and pumping out more spells per second.
  • CON (survivability) — just enough not to die easily; ignore STR and DEX, which are useless to you.

Being a mage, your focus is a good magic weapon (staff/wand) that boosts your spell power, not physical weapons. Use robe armor (light cloth), which gives the most magic bonus and mana for casters.

What to upgrade first: invest in the magic weapon to raise your damage, then in the robe to gain mana and magic defense. Accessories that increase INT or MEN are always welcome.

Beginner step-by-step

  1. Create the character — pick High Elf and follow the Element Weaver line. You start as a beginner mage and evolve through the same class family.
  2. Do the first quests in the starting area — they teach the basics, give starter gear and a few quick levels with no effort.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt — this system makes your character farm by itself, automatically attacking monsters of your level. It's the main way to level up in Essence; leave it running while you keep an eye on it.
  4. Follow the professions base → 1st → 2nd → 3rd — every class change unlocks stronger spells. Always do the switch as soon as it's available; it's what boosts your power the most.
  5. Prioritize the right skills and buffs — always activate Haste, Acumen and Wild Magic before farming, and keep the HP and MP recoveries on to sustain yourself.
  6. Earn Adena and L-Coin — sell what drops and complete missions; use this currency to buy gear upgrades and convenience items.
  7. Keep weapon and armor updated — whenever you can, swap to a better magic weapon and a higher-grade robe. Outdated gear is what stalls your progress the most.
  8. Join a party now and then — a party greatly speeds up XP gain and opens access to content you couldn't beat alone.

Where to farm

  • Auto-hunt on monsters of your level — let the system farm compatible targets to gain XP and drops steadily and safely.
  • Move up to harder zones as you evolve — as your damage grows, move to areas with stronger monsters, which give more experience and items.
  • Join a party for raids and bosses — bosses are worth a lot of XP and rewards but require a group; your ranged magic damage is very welcome on those teams.
  • Use the Season Pass and daily missions — these are guaranteed reward sources that speed up your progress without relying only on drop luck.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Trying to fight in melee — your physical stats are weak; getting close only gets you killed. Always stay at range and cast.
  • Forgetting buffs before farming — without Haste, Acumen and Wild Magic on, your damage drops a lot. Make a habit of buffing before each session.
  • Ignoring magic defense — many enemies use spells; without Magic Barrier and a good robe, you take too much damage and fall fast.
  • Letting gear get old — running a weak magic weapon stalls your damage. Upgrade the weapon whenever possible.

This class is for you if…

  • You like playing at range — you'd rather cast spells safely than trade blows in melee.
  • You enjoy high, explosive damage — you want to see big numbers and drop monsters fast with spells.
  • You want an efficient farmer — you like the idea of near-infinite mana and self-sustain to leave auto-hunt running for hours.
