Ghost Hunter class guide (Dark Elf) — strengths, skills and step by step

Meet the Ghost Hunter: the Dark Elf assassin who appears from nowhere, pierces defenses and vanishes before the enemy can react. A complete guide for beginners.

by admin 7 min read

In short: The Ghost Hunter is the final assassin of the Dark Elves, a fast dual-dagger fighter who lands brutal critical strikes and slips away from danger. It is the perfect class for anyone who loves speed, explosive damage and an aggressive play style.

Picture a hunter who moves like a shadow. He appears behind the enemy, sinks his daggers in with a single devastating blow and disappears before anyone understands what happened. That is the Ghost Hunter.

Playing a Ghost Hunter is a rush of adrenaline. You are fragile if you just stand there taking hits, but if you master speed and timing you become a killing machine no one can keep up with. It is the classic assassin fantasy: high risk, high reward.

Overview

Profile
Race Dark Elf
Archetype Melee combat
Play style Agile assassin
Difficulty Medium
Main weapon Daggers (fist/blades)
Position in the line 3rd Class

The Ghost Hunter is the end point of a long assassin journey: Dark Fighter (Starter) → Assassin (1st Class) → Abyss Walker (2nd Class) → Ghost Hunter (3rd Class). Each step makes you faster and more lethal, until you become the supreme hunter of the shadows.

Strengths

  • Very high raw strength — With STR at the top (among the top 2% on the server), every physical hit hurts a lot. In practice, you bring down monsters and players in just a few strikes.
  • Uncommon speed — Your movement speed is one of the best in the game. That means you catch anyone who flees, escape anyone chasing you, and farm faster by moving from group to group.
  • High dexterity — Your high DEX (among the top 24%) raises your critical chance and your accuracy. Combined with Strength, your hits miss less and hurt more.
  • Devastating backstab — The Mortal Blow skill (a strike from behind) deals huge damage when you attack from the back. It is your main opener to start a fight with the advantage.
  • A nightmare in PvP — Speed + crits + surprise strike make the Ghost Hunter one of the best player hunters. You choose who dies and when.

Weaknesses

  • Low health — Your endgame HP (around 3,695) is among the lowest (in the bottom 39%). Translation: you die fast if you misplay your positioning. Tip: never stand still trading blows; use speed and evasion to control the fight.
  • Fragile against groups — Being melee with low health, getting surrounded is fatal. Tip: attack one target at a time and retreat the moment things get tight.
  • Has to get close — Your attack range is extremely short (you need to be right on top of the enemy). Tip: use your speed skills to close the gap fast and avoid taking damage from afar.

Class-defining skills

  • Mortal Blow — A powerful physical strike ("blow") that deals huge damage, even more if you hit from behind the target. It is your ideal opener in almost every fight.
  • Power Strike — A strong physical attack (a physical strike) for constant use. Use it whenever your backstab is on cooldown to keep the damage flowing.
  • Power Shot — Another direct-damage physical strike. One more tool to pile hits onto the enemy without stopping.
  • Wind Walk — A buff (a temporary boost) that increases your movement speed. Turn it on before farming or hunting to move faster across the map.
  • Haste — A buff that increases your attack speed. The faster you hit, the more damage per second: activate it whenever you enter a fight.
  • Ultimate Evasion — A buff that GREATLY raises your chance to dodge hits for a few seconds. It is your emergency button: use it when you are about to take heavy damage.
  • Recover HP — A heal over time (it slowly regenerates your health). Great for staying topped up between fights without relying only on potions.
  • Recover MP — Restores mana over time. Helps keep your buffs and skills always available.
  • Counterattack — A buff that makes you automatically strike back when you are hit. Good for when you need to hold position and return damage.

Attributes: what to prioritize

The Ghost Hunter lives on physical damage and speed, so your focus is clear: hit hard, hit fast and don't miss. Survival comes from evasion, not from health.

  • STR (physical damage) — Your number one priority. The more Strength, the more damage every hit and every critical deals.
  • DEX (crit and accuracy) — Right behind. It raises your chance to crit and to land hits, which multiplies your damage in practice.
  • CON (survivability/HP) — A little helps you not die so easily, since your base health is low.
  • MEN (mana) — Useful just enough to keep buffs and skills running without running dry.

Your weapon is daggers (a fast fist/blades style), built for quick strikes and crits. Always use the strongest dagger you can get.

For armor, prefer light armor: it gives attack speed and evasion, which fit your style perfectly. As an upgrade priority, focus on the weapon first (it raises your damage the most), then the armor, and lastly accessories and elemental attributes.

Beginner step by step

  1. Create the character — Choose the Dark Elf race and follow the fighter path (Dark Fighter). It is the trunk that leads to the assassin.
  2. Do the first quests in the starting area — The early missions give XP, basic gear and money. Don't skip them: they get you on your feet fast.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt — This feature makes your character farm on its own, automatically attacking monsters of your level. It is the main way to level up without staying glued to the screen.
  4. Advance through the professions — Go from Dark Fighter → Assassin (1st) → Abyss Walker (2nd) → Ghost Hunter (3rd). With each change you gain new skills and become much stronger.
  5. Prioritize the right skills — Learn Mortal Blow early to open fights, and keep Wind Walk and Haste always on. Save Ultimate Evasion for emergencies.
  6. Gather Adena and L-Coin — Adena (the game's gold) comes from auto-hunt and selling drops; L-Coin comes from missions and the Season Pass. Use both to buy weapons, armor and supplies.
  7. Keep your weapon and armor updated — Whenever you can, switch to better gear. Since you have low health, high damage and good armor are what keep you alive.
  8. Learn to retreat — Build the habit of fleeing when your health drops. Your speed exists for this: living to fight again is worth more than dying with pride.

Where to farm

  • Auto-hunt on monsters of your level — Leave your character farming in areas that match your level for a steady stream of XP and drops.
  • Move up to harder zones as you grow — As you get stronger, move to regions with tougher monsters that give more XP and better rewards.
  • Party up for raids and bosses — In a group you take on big, rare enemies. Your high damage makes you shine as a focused attacker on the boss.
  • Use the Season Pass and daily missions — They are guaranteed sources of L-Coin, gear and XP. Do them whenever possible.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Trading blows standing still with strong enemies — With low health, standing there taking hits is certain death. Use speed and evasion in your favor.
  • Ignoring the speed buffs — Playing without Wind Walk and Haste throws away half your potential. Keep them always active.
  • Forgetting to upgrade the weapon — Almost all your damage comes from the dagger. Running around with a weak weapon makes you slow to kill and puts you in danger.
  • Charging straight into a crowd of enemies — You are an assassin, not a tank. Pick one target, take it down and retreat.

This class is for you if…

  • You enjoy playing aggressively, fast and full of adrenaline.
  • You prefer explosive damage and fight control over standing and tanking damage.
  • You like the fantasy of the assassin who appears from nowhere, kills and vanishes.
