Human Fighter class guide (Human) — strengths, skills and step by step

The Human Fighter is the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to step onto the front line, hit hard and learn the game without any fuss.

by admin 7 min read

In short: The Human Fighter is the most straightforward melee warrior on the server, built to stand on the front line and hit hard. It is the ideal pick for beginners who want to learn the game by learning to fight up close.

Picture a simple soldier — no flashy spells, just muscle, courage and a weapon in hand. That is exactly how Human Fighter feels to play: you charge into the middle of combat, face monsters head-on and settle everything with raw force.

It is an "honest" class. There are no secrets or hidden tricks: you hit, you take the punishment and you push forward. That is why it is so good for anyone who has never played Lineage II — you learn the basics of combat without getting lost in a thousand mechanics.

Overview

Profile
Race Human
Archetype Melee combat
Playstyle Front line
Difficulty Easy
Main weapon Fists/blades (and melee weapons in general)
Line position Starter

The Human Fighter is the foundation of the entire human warrior tree. The progression starts right here: Human Fighter (Starter) → and from there you choose more specialized professions as you level up.

Strengths

  • Very tough (high CON) — with Constitution at the top of the chart (among the highest 83%), it has the stamina to stand and take hits and still stay on its feet. In practice, that means fewer silly deaths while you learn.
  • Solid physical damage (high STR) — above-average Strength (74%) makes every blow really hurt. You clear packs of monsters quickly, which greatly speeds up leveling.
  • Reliable Dexterity (good DEX) — with above-average Dexterity (63%), you land your hits more often and have a better chance of critical strikes (hits that deal extra damage).
  • Naturally strong physical defense — the class is born with good physical defense, so it holds up well against the melee attacks of monsters. That pairs perfectly with the front-line role.
  • Easy to play — a simple kit, no mana to manage constantly and no complicated spells. You focus on hitting and surviving, ideal for a first class.
  • Scales well over time — as the base of the whole warrior tree, everything you learn here stays useful in the advanced professions.

Weaknesses

  • Low total HP for a pure tank — despite the good Constitution, total HP sits at the bottom of the chart. Tip: invest early in armor and automatic healing potions to make up for it.
  • Low mana — Mana is also at the bottom of the chart, so do not count on constant magical abilities. Tip: keep mana potions on auto-use and focus on physical strikes.
  • Short range — being melee, you need to get close to deal damage, and that exposes you to several enemies at once. Tip: pull only a few monsters at a time early on.
  • Little group utility early — you bring damage and a body, not buffs or healing for the team. Tip: in a party, keep your supports beside you and concentrate on holding the front.

Class-defining skills

  • Power Strike — a strong physical strike (an attack that deals extra weapon damage). Use it as your main button to open fights and bring enemies down faster.
  • Mortal Blow — a precise high-damage strike (a "blow"-style attack, a sharp hit that hurts a lot). Save it to finish off dangerous targets or ones that are nearly dead.
  • Power Shot — another powerful physical strike to vary your offense. Good to alternate with Power Strike and keep your damage steady.
  • Weapon Mastery — a passive that improves your weapon handling, raising the damage you deal just by having learned it. Pick it up as soon as you can.
  • Armor Mastery — a passive that improves your armor use, making you tougher with no effort. Essential for holding the front line.
  • Shield — a passive that boosts your defense when you use a shield. Combine it with an equipped shield to turn into a wall against monsters.
  • Might — a passive that permanently reinforces your physical attack power. It is free damage: always keep it active.
  • Lucky — a luck passive that helps in the early levels. You do not need to worry about it, just keep it learned.

Attributes: what to prioritize

The Human Fighter is a pure physical warrior, so the focus is dealing damage and surviving. You want strength to hit, constitution to endure and a bit of dexterity to land more blows.

  • STR (Strength) — your number-one priority, because it raises the physical damage of all your strikes.
  • CON (Constitution) — second priority: it gives more HP and keeps you alive on the front line.
  • DEX (Dexterity) — useful for landing more hits and scoring more criticals.
  • INT/WIT/MEN — you can ignore these; this class barely uses magic or mana.

Use melee weapons (the class works up close) and heavy armor, which suits the front-line tank role and gives the best physical defense.

Early on, prioritize upgrading your weapon — higher damage means monsters die faster and you level quicker. Right after that, focus on improving your armor to take more punishment. A shield is also worth it, since the class has a passive that rewards using one.

Beginner step by step

  1. Create the character — pick the Human race and the Fighter class. Done, you are already a front-line warrior.
  2. Do the first quests in the starting area — they hand you basic gear, Adena and teach you the controls. Do not skip this part.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt — this mode makes your character farm on its own against monsters of your level. Activate it in a suitable zone and it hits, walks and collects while you watch.
  4. Follow the professions in order — you start at the base, then take the 1st profession, the 2nd and the 3rd as you level up. Each switch grants new skills and makes you much stronger.
  5. Prioritize the right skills and passives — learn Power Strike for your main damage and keep Might, Weapon Mastery, Armor Mastery and Shield always active.
  6. Gather Adena and L-Coin — Adena comes from killing monsters and selling drops; L-Coin is the server's special currency for better items. Save both.
  7. Keep weapon and armor up to date — whenever you can, swap to better gear for your level. Old equipment stalls your progress.
  8. Set up automatic potions — put healing on auto-use so you do not die during auto-hunt, since your total HP is on the lower side.

Where to farm

  • Auto-hunt on monsters of your level — the simplest way to level: leave the class farming in a zone that matches your current level.
  • Move up to harder zones as you grow — when monsters start giving little experience, switch to a stronger area to gain more.
  • Form a party for raids and bosses — big enemies give better rewards, and in a group you can hold the front with support behind you.
  • Use the Season Pass and daily missions — they give extra rewards just for playing, so complete them whenever you can.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Pulling too many monsters at once — your HP is not that high, so dragging a big pack can kill you fast. Take it slow at first.
  • Forgetting automatic potions — without healing on auto-use, you die on your own during auto-hunt. Set it up before farming.
  • Ignoring the passives — Might, the Masteries and Shield are free damage and defense. Do not skip learning them.
  • Carrying a weak weapon — keeping an old weapon to save money stalls your farm. Upgrade whenever you can.

It is for you if…

  • You like direct action — diving into the fray and settling it with raw force is your thing.
  • You are just starting out — you want a simple class to learn the game without drowning in mechanics.
  • You prefer being the front line — you enjoy holding enemies and protecting the team rather than hanging back.
