Orc Raider class guide (Orc) — strengths, skills and step-by-step
The Orc Raider is the toughest melee fighter of the early game: huge HP, raw strength and self-buffs to outlast everything. See skills, attributes and a beginner step-by-step.
In short: The Orc Raider is a tough melee brawler that trades blows with everything and almost never goes down. It's the perfect pick for anyone who wants a simple, sturdy character that farms on its own without headaches.
Picture a giant orc, packed with muscle, charging into a horde of monsters and simply refusing to back off. While other classes have to run, retreat and calculate every move, the Orc Raider just advances and swings. He soaks up damage that would drop any other hero.
Playing an Orc Raider feels like being a "tank with fists": you're the wall that doesn't give way. He has self-buffs (spells he casts on himself) to get even stronger and heal his own health, so he's a very independent class — great for newcomers who want to learn the game without dying every five minutes.

The Orc Raider is part of the orc warrior line and follows this evolution path: Orc Fighter (Starter) → Orc Raider (1st Class). In other words, you start as an Orc Fighter and, once you level up, make your first profession change to become a Raider.
Strengths
- Absurd toughness (CON 47) — this is the class's strongest point: the orc has the highest Toughness (CON) among all starter classes. In practice, that means he takes far more hits before going down, so you farm calmly and rarely need to run.
- Raw strength (STR 40) — high Strength makes every blow hit hard. More STR = more physical damage, so the orc not only endures but also punches hard, keeping a fast monster-killing pace.
- Self-buffs for independence — he has spells he casts on himself (Chant of Haste, Rage, Battle Roar) to boost attack speed, power and health. You don't rely on another player to get strong: the orc empowers himself.
- Own healing and mana — with Recover HP and Recover MP he slowly regenerates on his own, without burning through potions. That saves money and keeps the farm flowing, perfect for auto-hunt.
- Solid physical defense (pDef 80) — together with high HP, good physical defense lets him hold against entire packs of melee monsters, exactly the most common enemy type early on.
- Emergency skills — abilities like Guts and Frenzy kick in when your health is low, granting survival or a damage burst in a pinch. It's the class that turns the fight around when all seems lost.
Weaknesses
- Very low mana (the lowest among starters) — the orc has almost no MP, so you can't keep casting skill after skill. Tip: use skills sparingly and let normal attacks do most of the work; learn Recover MP early.
- Almost no magic power (INT 18) — forget dealing magic damage, that's simply not his focus. Tip: go 100% physical gear and combat attributes, without wasting time on magic items.
- High HP, but not the server's highest — though sturdy, the orc's health is considered "mid-low" compared to the tankier high-level classes. Tip: keep your armor updated and use CON/HP to compensate at advanced levels.
- No ranged attack — he only hits up close, so monsters that flee or shoot from afar give more trouble. Tip: close the gap fast with the speed buff (Chant of Wind Walk) and focus one target at a time.
Class-defining skills
- Power Strike — a strong physical strike (an attack that deals extra damage) to open the fight and bring the target down faster. Use it as your opener at the start of combat.
- Iron Punch — another physical punch, ideal to chain after Power Strike and keep your damage high while mana allows.
- Wild Sweep — a sweeping physical strike that hits more than one enemy. Great when several monsters rush you at the same time.
- Chant of Haste — a buff (a spell on yourself) that increases attack speed. Turn it on before farming to kill everything faster.
- Chant of Wind Walk — a buff that increases movement speed. Use it to catch fleeing enemies and to move faster across the map.
- Rage — a special buff that increases attack power. Activate it on tough targets or raids to deal more damage.
- Battle Roar — boosts your maximum HP on the spot, a handy "extra shield" of health before a dangerous fight.
- Recover HP — heal over time (health that comes back little by little). Turn it on when you take damage so you don't burn through so many potions.
- Guts — an emergency ability (it triggers when your health is low) that helps you survive the most critical moment. Your ace in the hole to avoid dying.
Attributes: what to prioritize
The Orc Raider is a pure physical class, so everything revolves around hitting hard and soaking damage. You want to maximize survivability and punching damage, ignoring the magic side entirely.
- CON (health/toughness) — your top priority. More CON = more HP and more endurance, and that's already the soul of the class.
- STR (physical damage) — the second priority. It directly raises how much each blow hurts.
- DEX (crit/accuracy) — useful in the background to land more hits and score critical strikes more often.
- INT/WIT/MEN (magic side) — you can ignore it; the orc uses no offensive magic and has very low mana by design.
Recommended gear
Since the attack is fist-based, use hand weapons (knuckles/punch blades) and always keep the strongest one you can get for your level. As a tough melee class, go with heavy armor, which gives the highest physical defense and matches the tank style.
Early on, prioritize upgrading the weapon first (more damage = faster farm) and right after that the armor (to endure more monsters). Don't spend resources on magic items: they're useless for this class.
Beginner step-by-step
- Create the character — pick the Orc race and the starter class Orc Fighter. The Raider comes out of this later on.
- Do the first quests of the starting area — the early missions hand out basic gear, Adena and free XP. Do them all to start well equipped.
- Turn on auto-hunt — enable automatic hunting mode: the character farms on its own in zones at your level, attacking monsters and earning XP without you clicking on everything. Perfect for the orc, who can take the hits.
- Follow the professions: base → 1st → 2nd → 3rd — you start as an Orc Fighter (base), become an Orc Raider at the 1st class and keep evolving in the next ones. Each change unlocks new skills and more power.
- Prioritize the right skills and buffs — learn and always turn on Chant of Haste and Chant of Wind Walk before farming, and use Recover HP/MP to stay up without burning potions.
- Earn Adena and L-Coin — auto-hunt gathers Adena (the in-game money) over time; L-Coin comes from missions, events and the Season Pass. Use both to buy upgrades.
- Keep weapon and armor updated — whenever you can, switch to a stronger weapon and better heavy armor. Outdated gear is what slows your progress the most.
- Level up at your own pace — let auto-hunt run, come back to tweak buffs and gear, and move to tougher zones as you grow stronger.
Where to farm
- Auto-hunt on monsters at your level — start by hunting enemies near your level; it's the safest, steadiest way to earn XP and Adena.
- Move to tougher zones as you grow — when the current monsters get too easy, switch to a stronger region to keep earning XP quickly.
- Party for raids and bosses — join a group to take on bosses; the orc is great at soaking damage on the front line while the group does the harm.
- Season Pass and daily missions — complete the daily tasks and the Season Pass to earn extra XP, Adena and L-Coin every day.
Common beginner mistakes
- Spamming skills and running out of mana — since the orc has very low MP, firing ability after ability leaves you dry; alternate with normal attacks.
- Forgetting to turn on buffs — going to farm without Chant of Haste and Wind Walk active makes everything much slower. Always turn them on first.
- Trying to use magic items or attributes — total waste; the orc is 100% physical. Focus on CON, STR and heavy armor.
- Leaving gear outdated — relying only on high HP and never updating weapon/armor makes the farm stall at higher levels.
This is for you if…
- You want a simple, sturdy character that doesn't die easily and forgives beginner mistakes.
- You like charging in and trading melee damage instead of calculating positioning.
- You want to farm solo on auto-hunt with little worry, without relying on other players to survive.
