Prophet class guide (Human) — strengths, skills and step by step

The Prophet is the heart of any group: it heals, resurrects and blesses allies while still casting attack magic. Learn how to play it from scratch.

by admin 7 min read

In short: The Prophet is a human support mage that keeps the group alive with heals, resurrection and protections. It's the ideal class for those who like being the team's essential pillar and never sitting out of a party.

Imagine being the person everyone looks for before a tough hunt. The Prophet is exactly that: the backbone of the group. While the others swing and take damage, you give life back, raise the fallen and still cast spells to help clear the monsters.

Playing a Prophet has a calm, strategic rhythm. You're always watching your allies' health bars, deciding who to heal first and when to lock down a dangerous enemy. It's less about explosive damage and more about keeping everyone breathing.

Position in the line 2nd Class

The Prophet is part of the faith-focused human mage line: Human Mystic (Starter) → Cleric (1st Class) → Prophet (2nd Class). In other words, you begin as a starting mystic, become a Cleric and mature into a Prophet, gaining group heals and stronger protections.

Strengths

  • Huge mana (absolute top tier) — With around 1847 MP at level 85, the Prophet almost never runs out of energy. In practice, this means you can heal and cast for a long time without stopping to rest.
  • Very high magic power (INT 41) — High Intelligence makes your heals restore more life and your attack spells hit harder. You're not just a babysitter: you also deal real damage.
  • Good health for a mage (3969 HP at level 85) — Mages tend to be fragile, but the Prophet takes more punishment than average. That gives you breathing room to survive when a monster slips through and comes your way.
  • Complete support kit — You heal individually, heal the whole group at once and even resurrect the dead. No other role is as indispensable in a party facing strong enemies.
  • Enemy control — With spells that put monsters to sleep and weaken them, you turn a dangerous fight into a manageable one, holding back whatever could go wrong.

Weaknesses

  • Slow movement (among the slowest) — With a run speed of 124, you move more slowly than most. Tip: always stay near the group and use a mount or speed buffs when available so you don't fall behind.
  • Low dexterity and strength — With DEX 21 and STR 22, the Prophet is terrible in melee combat and misses many physical hits. Tip: never try to trade punches; keep your distance and solve everything with magic.
  • Fragile if left exposed — Despite decent health for a mage, you still die fast if a boss focuses you. Tip: let the tanks go first and always stay at the back of the formation.
  • Depends on the group to shine — Alone, the Prophet kills monsters slowly. Tip: prioritize playing in a party, where your healing multiplies everyone's power.

Class-defining skills

  • Group Heal — Heals the entire group at once. It's your most important skill in raids and multi-enemy fights, when everyone is taking damage at the same time.
  • Heal — A strong heal for a single ally. Use it to give back a lot of life quickly to the tank or to whoever is about to die.
  • Battle Heal — A fast, cheap heal for mid-fight emergencies. It's your "first aid" when someone's health bar suddenly drops.
  • Resurrection — Revives a fallen ally, recovering a good part of the experience lost on death. This is what makes the Prophet irreplaceable in a party.
  • Sleep — Puts an enemy to sleep and stops it from attacking for a while. Perfect for neutralizing the most dangerous monster while the group clears the rest.
  • Weakness — Weakens the enemy's physical attack, making it hit for less. Use it on bosses and strong monsters to ease the pressure on the tank.
  • Divine Strike — A damage spell that punishes enemies with holy power. It's your main way to contribute attack when there's no one to heal.
  • Fireball / Wind Strike — Basic attack spells that deal ranged damage. Good for helping finish off monsters and gaining experience early on.
  • Mystic Immunity — A buff that makes you temporarily immune to negative effects. Activate it at critical moments to make sure you aren't interrupted while healing.

Attributes: what to prioritize

The Prophet lives on magic, so anything that raises magic power, mana and casting is worth gold. INT and MEN are already naturally high on this class, and those are exactly what you should bet on when choosing gear and bonuses.

  • INT (magic power) — Increases the strength of your heals and attack spells; it's the Prophet's number one attribute.
  • MEN (mana) — Ensures the energy tank to heal nonstop; the more you have, the longer you sustain the group.
  • WIT (cast speed) — Lets you cast heals faster, which saves lives in emergencies.
  • CON (health) — A bit of extra Constitution helps you survive when an enemy reaches you.

As a mage, the Prophet uses magic-oriented weapons and wears robes (the casters' light armor), which give the best mana and magic-power bonuses. Don't try to use heavy armor: it gets in the way of casting.

Always prioritize the magic weapon first, because it defines the power of your spells and heals. Then invest in the full robe set and, after that, in jewelry that boosts INT, MEN and cast speed.

Beginner step by step

  1. Create the character — Choose the Human race and the starting mage class (Human Mystic). This is where the Prophet's path begins.
  2. Do the first quests in the starting area — The early missions teach the basics and already hand you gear, Adena and experience to get off to a good start.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt — Auto-hunt makes the character farm on its own in zones of your level, attacking monsters and gaining experience automatically. It's the most practical way to level up while you learn.
  4. Follow the professions in order — Start as Human Mystic (Starter), become a Cleric (1st Class) and then a Prophet (2nd Class). Each change unlocks group heals, resurrection and stronger protections.
  5. Prioritize the right skills — Always level the heals (Heal, Battle Heal, Group Heal) and Resurrection first; then reinforce control (Sleep, Weakness) and finally the damage spells.
  6. Get Adena and L-Coin — Use auto-hunt to gather Adena from drops, and complete daily missions and the Season Pass to stack L-Coin, which is used to buy upgrades.
  7. Keep weapon and armor up to date — Whenever possible, swap your magic weapon and robe for better versions. Outdated gear cripples your healing and your damage.
  8. Join a party — The Prophet performs far better in a group. Look for players to hunt with and you'll see your usefulness skyrocket.

Where to farm

  • Auto-hunt on monsters of your level — Let the character farm in zones matching your level to gain experience and Adena steadily and safely.
  • Move up to harder zones as you grow — As you gain levels and gear, migrate to more dangerous areas, which give greater rewards.
  • Party for raids and bosses — Join a group to face bosses; it's where your healing and resurrection make all the difference and where the best prizes drop.
  • Use the Season Pass and daily missions — They're guaranteed sources of experience, Adena and L-Coin every day, without relying on drop luck.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Trying to fight in melee — The Prophet is extremely weak physically. Anyone who insists on hitting up close dies fast and wastes the class's potential.
  • Forgetting to level the heals — Leaving Heal, Group Heal and Resurrection behind makes the Prophet useless in a party. These skills are your reason to exist.
  • Staying in front of the group — Being slow and fragile, the Prophet should stay behind the tanks. Whoever runs to the front becomes an easy target.
  • Ignoring mana — Even with huge MP, wasting heals empties the bar at the wrong moment. Learn to heal with judgment.

It's for you if…

  • You enjoy being the indispensable piece that keeps the group alive, more than showing off kills.
  • You like a strategic, attentive rhythm, watching health bars and deciding the best play.
  • You always want a guaranteed spot in parties, raids and group hunts.
