Spectral Master class guide (Dark Elf) — strengths, skills and step by step

The Spectral Master is the Dark Elf summoner mage who punishes enemies with magic while commanding a spectral servitor. See why it is so powerful and how to level from scratch.

by admin 7 min read

In short: The Spectral Master is the final summoner mage of the Dark Mystic line, a ranged spellcaster who controls a spectral servitor to fight for you. It is perfect for anyone who loves destroying enemies from afar with magic power while a ghostly ally holds the front line.

Picture a Dark Elf conjurer wrapped in dark energy, hurling fireballs and gusts of wind while a summoned servitor charges the enemies. That is the feeling of playing the Spectral Master: you stay back, command the magic, and watch everything fall.

It is a class that rewards those who like to think before acting. You don't rush into the middle of battle — you position your servitor, let the mana flow, and pour magic damage from a safe distance.

Overview

Profile
Race Dark Elf
Archetype Ranged mage
Playstyle Magic summoner
Difficulty Medium
Main weapon Blades (fists)
Position in the line 3rd Class

The Spectral Master is the end point of a long journey: Dark Mystic (Starter) → Dark Wizard (1st Class) → Phantom Summoner (2nd Class) → Spectral Master (3rd Class). Each step in this line makes you stronger in magic and brings you closer to the complete spectral servitor.

Strengths

  • Giant mana pool — With around 1847 MP at level 85, it sits at the absolute top of all classes in this regard. Mana is the fuel of magic, so you can cast spell after spell without running dry in the middle of a fight.
  • Sky-high magic power — The INT of 44 (among the best on the server) makes every spell hit much harder. INT is the attribute that determines your spell damage, and the Spectral Master has plenty to spare.
  • A spectral servitor that fights for you — You summon a phantom servitor (Assassin Servitor) that attacks enemies while you stay safe behind. This is great for solo farming: the servitor takes the pressure and you just pour out magic.
  • Self-sufficiency with heals — It learns Self Heal and Battle Heal, so it can restore its own health without depending on another player. This makes it very independent during solo farming sessions.
  • Complete utility kit — Cast-speed buffs, enemy control and debuffs make the Spectral Master flexible: it deals damage, hampers the opponent, and even supports the group.

Weaknesses

  • Very fragile — A CON of just 24 (among the lowest in the game) means little health and little resilience. Tip: never let the enemy reach you — use the servitor as a shield and always keep your distance.
  • Slow to move — A run speed of 128 is below average. Tip: learn and always keep Wind Walk active to compensate and avoid falling behind in escapes or chases.
  • Low dexterity — The low DEX (23) reduces accuracy and critical hits on physical strikes. Tip: don't rely on melee — your game is 100% magic, so invest in that and ignore close-range fighting.
  • Dependent on mana and cast time — If your mana runs out or your spells get interrupted, you become vulnerable. Tip: use the mana and cast-speed buffs, and always keep MP potions on auto-use.

Class-defining skills

  • Fireball — Your basic fireball for magic damage (MDAM = magic damage). It is the standard opening spell to chip away at the enemy from afar.
  • Wind Strike — Another magic-damage spell, great to alternate with Fireball and keep constant pressure on the target.
  • Ice Bolt — Magic damage that also slows the enemy down (speed_down). Use it to brake monsters trying to get close to you.
  • Twister — A more advanced magic-damage spell, learned at level 20, for when you need a heavier hit.
  • Battle Heal — A fast, powerful self-heal in the middle of combat. It is what keeps you alive when the servitor can't hold everything.
  • Assassin Servitor — The heart of the class: it summons your spectral servitor with several buffs (multi_buff). It fights for you, distracts enemies, and multiplies your farming power.
  • Acumen — A buff that increases casting speed (casting_time_down). The faster you cast, the more damage per second — always keep it on.
  • Wind Walk — A movement-speed buff (speed_up) that compensates for the class's natural slowness. Keep it on all the time.
  • Concentration — A buff that reduces the chance of your spells being cancelled/interrupted (cancel_prob_down), helping you finish your casts without being cut off.

Attributes: what to prioritize

As a pure mage, the Spectral Master lives on magic power and mana. Everything that increases spell damage and your ability to cast nonstop is a priority; survivability comes second, since you play from afar.

  • INT (magic power) — Your top priority. It determines how much each spell hurts; it's what makes you a true mage.
  • MEN (mana) — Very important. It ensures you don't run out of MP and can cast continuously during long farms.
  • WIT (casting speed) — Useful for casting faster and pouring out more damage in less time.
  • CON (health/resilience) — Not the focus, but a little helps you survive a positioning mistake, since the class is fragile.

The Spectral Master uses caster weapons (the class's magical "blades/fists" category) — what matters is the magic-power bonus, not the physical strike. For armor, wear a robe: it is the mage's light armor that gives the biggest mana and magic bonuses.

Early on, prioritize upgrading the weapon, because it directly boosts your spell damage. Then focus on the robe to gain more MP and magic defense, and on jewels that raise INT and mana.

Beginner step by step

  1. Create the character — Choose the Dark Elf race and follow the mage line (Dark Mystic). It is the starting point of the path to the Spectral Master.
  2. Do the first quests of the starting area — They give basic gear, a bit of Adena, and your first spells. It is the fastest way to leave level 1 on the right foot.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt — This feature makes your character farm by itself on monsters of your level, attacking and casting spells automatically. It is how most players level up with ease.
  4. Advance through the professions — Follow the base line → 1st (Dark Wizard) → 2nd (Phantom Summoner) → 3rd (Spectral Master). Each change unlocks stronger spells and improves your spectral servitor.
  5. Prioritize the right skills and buffs — Always keep Acumen (faster cast), Wind Walk (movement), and Concentration (not being interrupted) active, and summon your Assassin Servitor before every fight.
  6. Gather Adena and L-Coin — Adena comes from farming with auto-hunt; L-Coin comes from missions, the Season Pass, and events. Use both to buy upgrades.
  7. Keep weapon and armor updated — Whenever you can, swap to a better weapon (more magic damage) and upgrade your robe. Outdated gear stalls all your progress.
  8. Take care of your mana — Put MP potions on auto-use so you never run out of magic fuel during farming.

Where to farm

  • Auto-hunt on monsters of your level — Always start in zones suited to your level, letting the servitor hold the enemies while you cast.
  • Move to tougher zones as you grow — As you gain levels and better gear, switch to more dangerous areas that give more experience and better loot.
  • Party up for raids and bosses — In a group, your magic damage and your servitor shine. Team up with other players to take on bosses that give big rewards.
  • Use the Season Pass and daily missions — They are constant sources of experience, Adena, L-Coin, and items; never skip them.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Going into melee — The class is pure magic and very fragile; fighting up close is a recipe for dying. Always stay at range.
  • Forgetting to summon the servitor — Fighting without the Assassin Servitor wastes half your power. Summon it before every fight.
  • Letting mana run out — Without MP you are defenseless. Use potions on auto-use and the mana buffs.
  • Ignoring the utility buffs — Playing without Acumen, Wind Walk, and Concentration leaves you slow, weak, and easy to interrupt.

This is for you if…

  • You enjoy fighting from afar with magic and watching enemies fall before they get close.
  • You like having a summoned ally that fights for you and gives you independence to farm solo.
  • You prefer to think and position rather than trade blows in the enemy's face.
