Warcryer Class Guide (Orc) — strengths, skills and step-by-step

The Warcryer is the war-support of the Orcs: he shouts chants that make the group faster, stronger and harder to kill. A guide from scratch for people who have never played.

by admin 7 min read

In short: The Warcryer is the Orc support/healer who uses war cries (chants) to speed up, strengthen and protect the group, while also healing and disrupting enemies. He's perfect for anyone who likes being the piece that makes the whole party shine.

Picture a huge orc shaman, thick-skinned, with a voice that echoes across the battlefield. Every shout of his is a spell: one makes allies run faster, another makes them hit harder, another heals wounds little by little.

Playing a Warcryer means playing for the group. You're rarely the one landing the final blow, but you're the one who decides whether the party wins easily or gets beaten up. It's a patient class, with lots of mana and lots of HP, made for those who like thinking about the "whole" and not just themselves.

Position in the line 2nd Class

The Warcryer is part of the Orc mystic line and follows this evolution path: Orc Mystic (Starter) → Orc Shaman (1st Class) → Warcryer (2nd Class). In other words, you start as a small orc magic apprentice and slowly become a master of battle chants.

Strengths

  • Nearly endless mana (absolute top). With the largest mana pool on the list (around 1847 MP at level 85), the Warcryer can cast buff after buff and heal without running out of fuel. In practice, you almost never need to stop and rest.
  • Lots of HP for a support (among the best). With around 3987 HP at level 85, he doesn't go down easily. That matters because a dead support buffs no one — surviving is half the job.
  • High magic power (INT 31). Even though he's a support, he has solid magic strength, which gives more weight to his damage and control spells. His enemy-disrupting magic actually works.
  • A game-changing buff kit. Speed, attack speed, casting speed and shield: he speeds up and protects the whole party at once. A good Warcryer makes an average group perform like an elite one.
  • Real crowd control. He can put enemies to sleep, scare them and confuse them. That turns dangerous fights, full of monsters, into calm ones.

Weaknesses

  • Low speed (among the lowest). With run speed 128, he moves slowly. Tip: always keep Chant of Wind Walk on yourself and stay close to the party — you weren't made to run away alone.
  • Weak physical strength (STR 27). Melee hits do little damage. Tip: don't try to be the group's damage — your value is in buffs, heals and control, not in the punch.
  • Low dexterity (DEX 24). Little critical chance and physical accuracy. Tip: focus on the magic, which relies on INT and MEN, and leave the heavy lifting to your allies.
  • Depends on the group to shine. Solo he can farm, but performs far worse. Tip: look for a party for raids and hard zones; that's where the Warcryer becomes the star.

Class-defining skills

  • Battle Cry — a war cry that strengthens allies' fighting spirit. Use it at the start of every fight to make the party more aggressive.
  • Chant of Haste — a buff that increases the group's attack speed (more hits per second). Essential in any hunt or boss fight.
  • Chant of Wind Walk — a buff that increases movement speed. Keeps the group (and you) moving quickly between monsters.
  • Chant of Acumen — a buff that reduces casting time, meaning mages and healers cast spells faster. Great for spell-heavy parties.
  • Recover HP — a heal that restores health little by little (healing over time). Keep it active on the tank so he lasts longer.
  • Life Rescue — a direct heal to rescue an ally in trouble. It's your "emergency button" when someone is about to die.
  • Dreaming Spirit — puts an enemy to sleep, taking it out of the fight for a while. Use it to neutralize the most dangerous monster in the group.
  • Fear — makes the enemy panic and run away. Great for getting rid of a target that's hitting you or the healer too hard.
  • Madness — confuses monsters, making them attack each other. Excellent when the group is surrounded by many enemies at once.

Attributes: what to prioritize

The Warcryer runs on magic and support, so his main attributes are MEN (his highest stat, gives mana) and INT (spell power). CON helps keep that good HP pool. Strength and dexterity come last.

  • MEN (mana): your highest stat and the heart of the class — more mana means more buffs and heals without stopping.
  • INT (magic power): makes your damage and control spells stronger and more reliable.
  • CON (HP/resilience): ensures you survive to keep supporting.
  • WIT (casting speed): helps you land buffs and heals faster in tight moments.

The Warcryer fights with fists/blades (FIST), but his real power is in his magic, so the weapon matters more for its magic bonuses than for the damage itself. As a support mystic, he wears robe armor (cloth/mage), light and focused on mana and magic.

Early on, prioritize upgrading the weapon (to reinforce your spells) and then the robe armor to gain more mana and magic defense. Don't forget jewels and the elemental attribute system as you progress — they give a big boost in the late game.

Beginner step-by-step

  1. Create the character. Choose the Orc race and the starter mystic class. You'll begin as a small magic apprentice, still weak but with huge support potential.
  2. Do the first quests in the starting area. They teach the basics, give you your first weapons, armor and a bit of Adena (the game's money). Don't skip this part.
  3. Turn on auto-hunt. With it enabled, your character farms on its own in zones at your level: it walks, attacks monsters and uses skills automatically. It's the main way to level up without staying glued to the screen.
  4. Follow the professions in order. You evolve from Starter → 1st Class → 2nd Class (Warcryer) → 3rd Class. Each change gives you new skills and makes you much stronger — do it as soon as it unlocks.
  5. Prioritize chants and heals. Level up the speed, attack-speed and shield buffs first, plus the heals. They define the class; damage takes second place.
  6. Learn to use control. Practice using sleep, fear and madness against dangerous groups. Knowing how to disrupt enemies is worth more than damage for a Warcryer.
  7. Gather Adena and L-Coin. Use auto-hunt, sell your drops and complete missions to build up resources. They pay for repairs, upgrades and shop items.
  8. Keep weapon and armor updated. As you level up, replace and improve your gear. A Warcryer with old gear buffs weakly and dies easily.

Where to farm

  • Use auto-hunt on monsters at your level. It's the safest and steadiest way to grow: same-level targets die fast and carry low risk.
  • Move up to harder zones as you evolve. When your current monsters get easy, look for stronger areas to gain more experience and better drops.
  • Join a party for raids and bosses. This is where the Warcryer shines: his buffs and heals make all the difference, and the rewards are far bigger.
  • Take advantage of the Season Pass and daily missions. They give resources, experience and extra items for little effort — don't let them pass.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Trying to play as damage. With weak strength and dexterity, melee is a waste. Focus on buffing, healing and controlling.
  • Forgetting to rebuff. Buffs have a duration; letting them drop mid-fight cuts half the party's power. Always renew them.
  • Walking alone up front. With low speed, you're the first to get surrounded. Stay near the tank and the party.
  • Ignoring mana and regen. Even with lots of mana, spending it all on damage spells leaves you without fuel to heal at the right moment.

This class is for you if…

  • You like making the whole group perform better instead of standing out alone.
  • You enjoy a patient, strategic class that thinks about buffs, heals and control.
  • You want a tough character with mana to spare, always present in raids and bosses.
